OUR LOGO

RED HAND LOGO

About our logo,  there are three distinct attributes.

First, the spear. The City of Fineas was a fabled city in the ancient Book of the Kells, and it was represented with a spear. Shawn’s son is named Finias.

Second, the spheres. Connemara is arguably one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland, if not the world. It is famous for its marble. The spheres in the pommel pay homage to that beautiful region. Brian’s daughter, Mara is named after that region.

Third, the crossed swords. Brian’s son, Balin, is named after the Arthurian Legend. The legend of the sword in the stone originated with this knight. When an Enchanted Lady appeared with a sword that only the bravest knight could pull from her scabbard, the one successful knight refused to return it to her, thus earning the name Sir Balin of two swords.
